Ultrasonix Medical Corporation Appoints New Chief Financial Officer
Richmond, BC - July 18, 2008 - Ultrasonix Medical Corporation, a leading developer and manufacturer of high quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging systems, announced today that Don Wright has joined as Chief Financial Officer.
Don Wright is a CMA and brings to Ultrasonix an extensive and varied background in finance and business operations with nearly 25 years in the media industry. Most recently, Don was Director of Finance for Pacific Newspaper Group, publisher of the Vancouver Sun and Province. Prior to that, Don was VP Business Operations for Global Television Western Operations.
"Don's extensive financial expertise and focus on margins and operating efficiencies, in addition to having operated within the framework of a large multinational organization, will allow us to keep improving our business fundamentals while maintaining a continued growth pattern" said Laurent Pelissier, Chief Technology Officer.
