Ultrasonix Medical Corporation Appoints VP Marketing & Business Development
Ultrasonix Medical Corporation today announced the appointment of a key addition to its senior management team, further expanding the company's expertise in the worldwide ultrasound market.
Robert Thompson has been named Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Ultrasonix, bringing to the company over twenty years of ultrasound market and clinical experience. Mr. Thompson's successful track record in the worldwide ultrasound business includes tenures with ATL Ultrasound (since acquired by Philips Medical Systems) and, most recently, GE Healthcare, a $14 billion unit of General Electric Company, where he was the Global Marketing Manager for General Imaging Ultrasound.
