About Ultrasonix
Ultrasonix makes ultrasound innovation accessible to more clinicians to improve patient care. We design easy-to-use ultrasound systems with unique features that reduce complications and increase patient safety.
INNOVATION
Ultrasonix is the leading provider of ultrasound systems for research enabling constant innovation that improves patient care.
Our company has been providing ultrasound systems for university and biomedical research for more than a decade. With access to innovations from hundreds of university research sites, Ultrasonix has a constant source of enhancements for leading-edge ultrasound technology and premium image quality. Ultrasonix is a pioneer in developing a software-driven platform that helps protect our customers’ investment by enabling innovation updates without the expense of buying new equipment.
GUIDANCE
Ultrasonix provides unique guidance technologies that reduce complications and offer clinicians a higher level of confidence when performing and teaching ultrasound-guided procedures.
SonixGPS™ proprietary guidance technology is predictive and works in and out of plane, which reduces the risks associated with complex procedures. It enables clinicians to insert the needle from any direction and still see the needle and its target point. SonixShine™ proprietary needle enhancement technology requires no adjustment to see the needle more clearly during procedures. These innovations, combined with a large monitor and premium image quality, make it easier than ever for clinicians to see the needle in tissue during injections, biopsies, aspiration and other interventional procedures.
SIMPLICITY
Ultrasonix collaborates with clinical experts to design easy-to-use systems that save time and money.
Ultrasonix was the first in the industry to offer customizable touch screen technology on our ultrasound systems. Our adaptable interface is designed to simplify workflow by reducing the number of steps required for a procedure. Our QSonix button guides users through four simple steps for optimized scanning. Clinicians can also design presets to suit individual preferences.
Recognizing that using an ultrasound system doesn’t begin and end with scanning, Ultrasonix has developed unique Credentialing technologies that enable seamless electronic credentialing, documentation and quality assurance. SonixDVR lets users record an entire exam in a small MPEG file with the touch of a button. SonixHUB manages credentialing, billing and quality assurance processes on an integrated software platform. Since Ultrasonix systems can be connected to the Internet, our customers benefit from easy software updates and remote diagnostics and support.
Founded in 2000, Ultrasonix is a privately-held company headquartered in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada. The company has additional offices in Phoenix, Arizona, Paris, France and Shanghai, China. We manufacture our products in Richmond, British Columbia.
